Cermaq launches sustainability report with change in reporting format
With the 2023 report, Cermaq is changing its sustainability reporting to meet the new mandatory requirements in EU regulation (CSRD) from 2025.
Cermaq Norway uses laser against salmon lice
Laser has proven to be effective against salmon lice and gentle on the salmon. After extensive evaluation at Cermaq in Finnmark and at Ballangen in Nordland, lasers will be put into use at suitable facilities in Nordland and Finnmark.
Pilot to identify plastic use

Cermaq terminates purchased farming permits. When the proposal for resource rent tax for aquaculture was presented, the authorities opened for returning permits purchased at fixed prices in 2022. Cermaq therefore terminates the purchase of 669 tons MAB at a value of NOK 134 million.

Cermaq cooperates with Norwegian start-up kelp producer
