Cermaq Group expands its Board of Directors with three Board members
Cermaq Group AS announces that the company's Board of Directors is being expanded with three members who will strengthen the company's strategic position going forward. After the expansion, Cermaq's board of directors will be 8 people from 15 August 2024.
“The new board members bring experience and knowledge from different sectors in Norway and internationally, and their insights will support the corporate governance of Cermaq as well as supporting the future growth" says Chairman of the Board Hirofumi Yamazaki.
“We look forward to benefiting from the unique experiences and competencies that each board member brings to the table," says Yamazaki.
The new members are:
Tone Wille:
Tone Wille has been the CEO of Posten Bring Group since 2016, prior to that she held senior positions within Posten Bring, lastly as EVP and CFO from 2012 to 2016. She will leave her position as CEO in October 2024. Before joining Posten Bring, she held senior management positions in Norfund (Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries), Elkem ASA, GE Energy (Norway) AS and the Kværner Group. She has considerable board experience and currently holds the position as chair of the board of Avinor and of International Postal Corporation and she is member of the board of Norske Skog ASA. Wille has a MSc in Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
Nina Udnes Tronstad:
Nina Udnes Tronstad is a professional board member. She is chair of the board at Source Energy and a member of the board at Norges Bank and Prosafe. She was executive vice president at Kværner and Statoil (now Equinor). She has been a board member at Peab AB, Trelleborg AB, Rambøll, Giek (now Eksfin) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) among others. Udnes Tronstad holds an MSc in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
Julie Rogers:
Julie Rogers is General Manager of the Corporate Communications and Sustainability Department at Mitsubishi Corporation’s London Branch. She is also Chairperson of the Mitsubishi Corporation Fund for Europe and Africa, a philanthropic foundation based in London. Rogers is a graduate of the University of Sheffield, with a degree in Japanese Studies and Politics.
